I started my writing career as a researcher writing for a government website (now defunded). After that, I wrote for my collegiate newspaper, later moving into the editorial side as the Features section assistant editor and later the News section editor.
In recent years, I have worked remotely as a Freelance Writer, Copywriter, Breaking News Analyst, Content Writer, Blogger, etc. The various positions and projects in the last few years have expanded my skill set as a writer, editor, and content creator.
My process when I take on a project is, first, to research the topic and condense that into a working outline. I use that to fill in each section of the outline. After going back and editing the piece, I run through the checklist of requirements provided by the client. Then, it becomes a collaboration with the client. Typically, I don’t often need more than a couple of passes back for editing. I love feedback and eagerly revise where necessary.
Thanks to my highly diverse background, I can write confidently in many niches. Regardless of niche, topic, or copy type, I easily adapt, without losing the brand voice. Whatever you need, I can make it happen.
